ZDSP Projects in Mafinga

In Mafinga District, the ZDSP is driving real development through Seven key projects: the Construction of a Skills Centre, the Construction of an Ablution Block at ADC, the Construction of a Bus Shelter at Thendele, Construction of a Bus Shelter at Muyombe, Construction of a Barrier at Kampumbu Checkpoint, Construction of a Barrier at Katanga Checkpoint and Installation of a Billboard. These initiatives are enhancing local infrastructure, improving community services, and supporting Mafinga Town Council’s commitment to transparent and responsive governance.

Construction of Skill Centre

The construction of a Skills Center in Mafinga is progressing steadily, marking a significant milestone for the district. This initiative, supported by the Zambia Devolution Support Program, aims to bring tertiary education closer to the residents of Mafinga.

Once completed, it will be the first Skills Center in Mafinga, serving as a hub for skills training and development. It is expected to have a positive impact on the district’s development, providing opportunities for individuals to acquire skills and contribute to the local economy.
