The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has made a landmark announcement by delimiting Mafinga District into two distinct constituencies: Mafinga North and Mafinga South.

This strategic division promises improved voter representation, more accessible polling stations, and fairer electoral boundaries. Each of the two constituencies will comprise eight (08) and five (05) wards drawn from the district’s existing 13 wards, as outlined below:

Approved Mafinga North Constituency:

  1. Musipizi Ward
  2. Mafinga Ward
  3. Senje Ward
  4. Ntonga Ward
  5. Thendere Ward
  6. Mululu Ward
  7. Mukutu Ward
  8. Bemba

Approved Mafinga South Constituency:

  1. Kakoma Ward
  2. Luhoka Ward
  3. Mahobe Ward
  4. Kalanga Ward
  5. Vumbo Ward
